Welcome to the first official challenge for the new All About Me scrapbook challenge blog. We have a fun one this month that is all about creating your own brand. What does this mean? Creating your brand is all about finding the things that represent you. Understandably, this challenge might seem a bit confusing and challenging. When I first was introduced to creating this type of layout, I thought it was impossible. My brand? What do you mean my brand? Like my favorite shoe company? Mmmm... not quite.
Hopefully if you are at this blog, you know our focus is on the inside. We're using scrapbooking as a way to creatively journal our lives. So when I talk about Your Brand, I mean finding color, symbolism, imagery and journaling to create a layout that is YOU. Self portrait, a slogan, something that represents YOU is what we are looking for here. Use your favorite colors and products. This should be a layout that you can hang on your wall, look at everyday and say, "Yep... that's me and I'm pretty awesome!" In a way, we are labeling ourselves but in a positive light.

So how would you label yourself? What slogan would you use that would describe who you are? What is your identity, your favorites and/or piece of your personality that stands out?
How the challenges will work with the new structure here at AAM is quite simple. You have the entire month to work on your layout. Through out the month, each Creative Team member will do an individual blog post going into a bit more detail on how they processed their layout. Hopefully this will give you more ideas and inspiration as you dig into your soul.

This looks like an awesome challenge. I just had a quick question..are we allowed to combine this with another challenge? And also when you say "do not use this to share your blog" ..does that mean we link JUST from an online gallery? many thanks and awesome DT layouts.
GREAT questions Nadia! You can certainly combine challenges. We love that. When I say to not just share your blog, I'm speaking to those who just use our Inlinkz to promote their blog and not actually use it to share their challenge submission. Unfortunately, that happens so I had to make the blurb. But you can definitely link us to your blog post if that is where your layout is.
