Thinking Positive

Hi there. . .

We generally think negatively about ourselves far more than we should but this challenge was to focus on the positive,to brand ourselves and to sell ourselves in a good light. I asked various people to describe me in a few words & the phrase "makes me laugh" came up a few times so I brainstormed and eventually came up with the "brand" The Joker as I love to make people laugh. So I had my title.
Next I wanted to find a phrase or a quote that gave across that message after trawling the internet I found just what I wanted,with these ideas in mind I started to look for pictures & I found these daft ones of me laid in a wheelbarrow in the garden dressed in some funky pineapple glasses! Perfect for what I needed.
.My favourite colour is blue and as I wanted to use the smiley face emocion as my "logo" I added the yellow and then the green to match my pictures. This colour combo lends itself to a bright fresh look & I wanted to keep the focus on the title and the pics, so went for a layout with small clusters and accents that didn't overpower so your eye is still drawn to the main elements of the page.

All in all this layout was created totally backwards to my normal process where my title is quite often the last thing I think of! All About Me is here to help us document ourselves & focus on all aspects of our lives, I know that whilst I mainly love to scrapbook about my family maybe they might want to remember what made me "tick" too! So don't be afraid to make this all about you!
