- Current Emotion. Today. What exactly are you feeling? Is life so grand and you are walking a cloud? Or perhaps you are feeling flustered, upset or irritated? Whatever your current emotion is, scrap it. Use some symbolism. Grab a self photo that portrays that emotion.
- Meal of the day. What are you eating? Is it your favorite meal? Or maybe you are fasting for medical reasons or doing a cleanse.
- Don't want to scrap your food? How about your current physical appearance?
- What about the weather or the current state of your house? Car? Laundry pile? The scenario in your house? Is the husband snoring on the chair while the kids have their noses to the TV screen? Are you in the midst of a killer family Extreme Monopoly game??? Who is winning?
See? It can be anything but the challenge is it needs to be about NOW. Not a memory to preserve. Not a hope for the future but what it is right NOW.
Want some more examples? I'll begin by sharing my approach. I came at it from an emotional perspective. A few weeks ago I was feeling very defeated. Upset. Overlooked. Tired of living in someone's shadow. All of it was false... What I mean is, I was the one placing those thoughts in my head when, in reality, no one was actually overlooking me. And even if they were, I needed to remind myself it didn't matter. Instead of shoving the emotion, true or not, I decided to journal about it. It fit perfectly with another design team assignment and it inspired this challenge.
Melissa
Want more inspiration that's not so depressing? Check out with the rest of the Creative Team came up with:
Tracee
Tracee scrapped about what she is thankful for right NOW.
Something she has been working towards the past couple of years.
Diana
Diana took the opportunity record the sudden change in weather that we all seem to be experiencing!
Charlotte
Letting go is something we all experience. New Creative Team member Charlotte documented her experience in the NOW.
Norine
We all have different roles from being a mom, to an aunt, to caretaker... Norine is embracing her current role of being a puppy grandma!
So as you can see, recording the NOW can be taken from so many different angles. The goal of this challenge is have you pause. While vision for the future is a wonderful thing, we mustn't forget to be thankful for where we are NOW. And if it's negative, using scrapbooking as an artistic mode of therapy can be amazing!

This is a great challenge! I got me to scrap something I'd never scrapped before but always wanted to for my BOM.
I am in this mood of scrapping nysekf those days- so made 2 pages and they all are about me now. With all kuds grown, I can scrap or take photos or travel a lot.
